We in the tanning industry know there is not one solution that fits everyone. Each one of us has different skin types, colors and visions of what we want our tan to look like - thats why the Spray booths never made much sense to me. However, it took some inspiration and lots of trial an error to discover this. A little background - My girlfriends and I were all tanorexias - we were always looking for new ways to look our bronzed best so, when we heard about the spray booth rage we were elated (this was years ago)! We would rush to the salon and wait in line (all of course ranged in color from ghost white to J-Lo brown along with some of us being ashy dry or oily skin types) we would anxiously wait in line dreaming that after our session we would step out looking like a Glow Goddess. When it was finally our turn into the dark tanning chamber - We would step into a booth and get showered with one solution, yes there are different steps to choose from but its basically one solutions with the choice of how much solution you wish to be doused with. It just didn't make sense that all of us with such diverse skin types were having to use the same solution. It was after many streaky, orange, disappointing nights of having to wear closed toe heels because our feet were too orange and streaky for our cute strappy sandals . It was from all of those disappointing nights that GLO on the Go was created. Since those disappointing night soooo long ago - we have built an established business with happy clients. We pride ourselves on quality and have built our boutique with clients who trust that we are using the best tanning solutions on the market. We have always stated that we would never use a product that we wouldn't use on ourselves. We have tried and tested every tanning solution on the market and believe me................ I, along with all my friends have been guinea pigs - thank goodness they stuck by me during the orange streaky bad solution tests. It was because of these guinea pigs that I was able to test before I agreed to carry it in the salon. All our clients know we are always dabbing in new tanning solutions looking for the better quality. With than said .........after many years in the industry and trying almost every solution available we decided we just were not happy with what we were finding so we've hired who we consider to be the top cosmetic chemists in the sunless tanning industry, and have worked to develop our signature innovative spray tanning product. Our newest breakthrough product is a soothing, rich, lotion based, spray-able self tanning solution. The most common request from our clients was for a quality moisturizing product, which develops a streak free and smooth, yet dark, well-fading tan. We use a state of the art spray-able lotion based formula that contains a blend of moisturizers, antioxidants, anti-irritants and still produces optimum tanning activity. Our lush spray-able lotion solution is a quality sunless tanning activity that also acts as an effective skin treatment product; which both conditions and moisturizes the skin. Our solution is formulated with a complimentary blending of Dihydroxyacetone and Erythrulose. This creates a natural looking rich tan, with slow fading and minimal unevenness. The rich lotion base is a matrix of scientifically advanced skin beneficial ingredients, which enhance penetration and reduce dry out normally associated with DHA based products. This solution base contains a masterful blending of non-sticky, easily absorbed, moisturizers such as Jojoba oil, Grape seed oil, Evening primrose oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol and Squalane. These ingredients gently moisturize and sooth the skin, without compromising the precious protective barrier function. They can even help repair and rebuild stressed and damaged skin. An assortment of calming anti-irritants and antioxidants, help combat daily oxidative and environmental stress damage. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Beta Glucan, Tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E) and Green Tea extract infuse this product. Finally, Dimethicone is added to create the soft, silky skin feel we all love. Each of these ingredients is unparalleled, with its own unique, enhancing skincare activities; and when combined in a positive formulation synergy, the effect can be almost amazing! |
